I tried to do the lightbulb change but it looked to complicated so I let a professional figure it out.
He had to get in there and unscrew and take out the whole light assembly for the right side.
That was pretty complicated.
There was no room to take out the bulb, so gotta do it up front.
The left side didn't need to be taken out. You can go behind the light assembly, just make sure to take out the air intake.
The other guy helps get the process going by starting on taking out that air intake.
The right side took forever because of trial and error.. probably 40 minutes.
Half of the air intake is already taken out.
The light bulbs, blue on the left and stock on the right.
That air intake was dirty.. cleaning it out and pushing it out of the way.
This is one of the air filters. See how much mess is in there?
That's why the Audi loses some power..hahaha.
Can't believe how much stuff gets in there.
Vacuuming out the whole thing will help a lot.
Almost there. Screwing the other half of the air intake back in place.
Ok connect the two halves...
Final screwing and other adjustments.. left side took only 15 minutes.
Check the rest, fill in the wiper fluid, etc.
Why not check the tire air pressure while we're at it and fill it up to specs?
Finally, brighter and less amber (a little more white and blue) lights!
Hey this is a full service day. Why not wash it along with the M3?
My friend Sid drops by with his carbon black M3 with nice rims.
He wanted me to help him install his 6000k bulbs..hehe..
We both have 19" rims. His has a real nice lip though..

Lights are nicer now.
When it gets darker it will be good to see the difference.
