The performance tires are now wrapped up... they are horrible in the snow (duh).
This morning ice and snow, perfect time to test out the new snow tires.
Ice so thick and strong my flimsy scraper broke...
Time for the backup mini-scraper.
The stock Enkei wheels will have to do with the 235/45HR-17 Michelin Pilot Alpin snow tires. There were no wheels available
at the time from tirerack, nor tires.com. So just the tires for now from tirerack.
You won't believe how the thing grips. The first time you drive on them, no matter how I hype it up
it will still shock you how great they are. Sorta like LeBron James. He was better than expected even
with all the hype. BTW, check out that white Eclipse.. he slid trying to be funny and hit the curb.
So of course I had to take a pic of him and his girl as I passed by, hehe.
Arriving at work, the winter beater did it's job well.
I'm going pretty fast here.. 40 MPH when everyone was probably at 10.. and the thing can stop almost as if
it was just light rain on regular pavement. Of course I'm careful don't worry.
