Tuskegee Airman paves way for minority pilots

I could really relate to his love of flying and the true bravery of his team who fought for freedom in WWII. It was interesting that he noted the team was accepted without hesitation in Europe at the time but the Americans were still stuck in some backward ways.

I think in alot of ways, his experiences and Bill Russell's were about the benefits they received via mentors of practical experience.

I could listen to Russell speak for hours because of the wisdom and wit he uses to convey blunt and useful points. All of his points were told through stories that everyone could related to in their own way.

It's also amazing how time and time again, old wisdom is not biased as conventional wisdom is. The point is the betterment of people both at home and in the world.

If you ever have a chance to hear these men speak, go out of your way not to miss it.
