I don't see you changing your stance. And neither have I. I still stand by my "stereotype" that (now revised to) young blacks are louder at theatres than the avg. movie-goer. Or some older more mature blacks might say the "ignant ones". If I come across 10 out of 10, then that is a fair "stereotype".
Besides that post was created when I was steaming mad. And it wasn't the first time I posted about the experience. How would you feel about movies being ruined by a certain group, consistently? Anyway that is that. It does not affect my racial relations at work, on the basketball court, with friends, in stores, anywhere. I am fair and see colorblind. Except when I go to a movie... what can you say? The racial wisdom by Bill Russell is good ammo for me to defend Affirmative Action. But I never had a problem there in the first place. So I disagree that "I needed it" in the sense that you think I'm becoming a bigot. In fact I dare say I am less racist than the average american. |
