So I just wanted to give a review after giving this fine vehicle a test drive. Note that I currently drive a 2002 BMW M3 SMG. This of course played a factor as to how I felt about the car, compared to mine. Granted the NSX I drove was used with 29k miles but it still is a sweet "affordable" exotic.
The NSX revs up to 8k rpms, very similar to my M3. It handled well. But that's where the similarities end. The steering wheel was stiff, almost as if it didn't have power steering. Also, this 1995 model felt really lethargic acceleration-wise than I expected. Reviews show that it goes 0-60 in 5.7 compared to M3's 4.8. The 260 hp engine is efficient but really could use more torque. To be fair, let me state that the new NSX's did improve to 5.1 in 0-60 and 290 hp. I did not feel confident in the car. It was easy to drive and can be a daily driver, but for a $85k car new and used 95 at $43k, I expected a lot more. Interior was pretty good and the best thing about the car of course is the way it looks, but I would suggest getting something else for $43k rather than spend on this car. Unless you really just want the exotic car looks.
